RONALD EDWARD BUNTROCK January 29, 1945 – January 21, 2019                   Ronald Edward Buntrock, age 73, of Osage, MN, formerly of Ramsey, MN, peacefully but unexpectedly passed away at his home near Osage, MN.                 Ron was born on January 29, 1945 in Albert Lea, MN to August and Olga (Aase) Buntrock.  He graduated from the Albert Lea Public High School with the Class of 1962.  He then entered the United States Navy where he proudly served his country for six years.  While in the Navy, Ron met Fortunata Diana Moya of Hanford, CA.  The young couple fell in love and were married on August 17, 1964.  They were blessed with two sons: Tony and Vincent.  After his honorable discharge on May 27, 1966, Ron and his young bride, returned to Minnesota where they made their home in the Twin Cities area and Ron began a forty-year career as an over the road truck driver and logged over 5 million accident-free miles.  Ron and Diana retired to the Osage area where he enjoyed fishing, walking in the woods near his home with his faithful dog, and spending time with his family as often as he could.  He especially looked forward to visits with his two grand-daughters: Bailey and Celia.                 Ron will be lovingly remembered by his precious wife and soulmate for these fifty-five years, Diana of Osage; his two sons:  Tony of Menahga and Vincent of Washington State; his two grand-daughters: Bailey Buntrock age 27 and Celia Buntrock age 20; two sisters: Bonnie Braund of Albert Lea, MN and Jean Weston of St. Cloud, MN as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.                 Ron was preceded in death by his parents; and an older brother, Bill.                 Graveside services will be held 3 PM Friday, May 24th, 2019 at the Camp Ripley State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls, MN.  The Star of The North Marine Corps League provided military honors.
