Nolana Ruth Kampfer

                Nolana Ruth “Nola” Kampfer, age 34 of Park Rapids, MN, formerly of St. Paul, MN, unexpectedly; but, peacefully entered the Glory of Heaven on Monday, August 13, 2018, at her home in Park Rapids, MN.

                Nola was born on October 15, 1983, in Dubuque, Iowa to Glenn and Karri (Stenlund) Kampfer.  She graduated high school in Greendale, WI, and later attended the University of Minnesota and The Carlson School of Management.  Nola spent most of her life here in Minnesota. She made her home in St. Paul working in the accounting field until moving to Park Rapids in 2016.  Nola worked as the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator for the Laporte School District.  She was very creative and was gifted with her sharp intelligence and quick wit.  

                She will be sorely missed by her parents, Glenn and Karri (Stenlund) Kampfer of Laporte; her three sisters: Angela Jacques and her children: Tyler and Zander of Blaine, MN, Elana Kampfer of St. Paul, and Lela (Jeremy Jacobs) Kampfer and their children: Giada, Brexlyn and Ella of New Ulm, MN;  maternal grandparents: Dr. Roger and Paula Stenlund of Norfolk, VA; paternal grandmother, Ruth Albrecht of Laporte; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

                Nola was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Beverly Stenlund; paternal grandfathers: David Kampfer and Herb Albrecht and one cousin, Rebecca Kielsa.

                Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Community Bible Church in Laporte, MN with Pastor Ray Clyde officiating.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church.
