Mary Lou Ruddat-Yahr

Mary Lou Ruddat-Yahr, age 74 of Menahga Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at her home in Menahga, Minnesota.

Mary was born on April 2, 1951, to Ewald and Elfreda (Theson) Ruddat in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended Wisconsin Lutheran High school and graduated in 1969. She lived in several towns in Wisconsin and settled in Menahga, MN. Her career was in insurance, and her passion was being a caretaker. She married Terry Yahr in September 2024 at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Mary enjoyed fishing and hunting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved playing cribbage with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Yahr; one son Christopher Goodbear; stepdaughter, Jeanette (John) Brand; one brother, Larry (Joy) Ruddat; five grandchildren, Braden Goodbear, Tanner Goodbear, Robert Brand, Amber Olson and Elle Brand; and one great grandchild on the way.

She is preceded in death by Arnold Ruddat.
