Jerry Lynn White, age 65 of Park Rapids, MN, peacefully entered Heaven on Wednesday evening, October 12, 2022 at his home in Park Rapids surrounded by his love ones. Jerry was born on July 10, 1957 in Grand Marais, MN to Harvey and Cleo (Binley) White. As a young boy, he moved with his parents to Park Rapids where he attended public school and grew into manhood. As a young man he gained employment working as a custodian for the Akeley Public School, worked for the Hubbard Co. Highway Department, cleaned out tree lines for the Clyde Johnson Const. Company, worked with Melvin Hooker logging, worked for his brother, Billy doing lawn care, worked at the RDO Potato Company, worked for River Heights Apartments, he worked at Burger King, and for 13 years he worked for Malm Concrete and for North Star Orthodontics for almost 10 years as he retired early due to health problems in 2011. In his spare time, Jerry loved to play cards with family and friends. He also loved to hunt, fish and play pool. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage and following his son, Michaels, sports of Football, baseball and wrestling. He enjoyed watching the TV show “Game of Thrones”. Above all else he loved spending time with his family and grandkids. Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cheryl of Park Rapids; his two sons, Micheal White of Park Rapids and Jerry Robert Charles White of Park Rapids; step-sons: Micheal (Tanya) Phillips of Walker MN and Louis Paul Johnson II of Park Rapids; step daughter, Ashley Johnson of French Town, Montana; four brothers: William White of Park Rapids, Bobby (Rosie) Fell of Bemidji, Roger (Emily) Fell of Park Rapids; and Richard Fell of Park Rapids; a sister; Lori (Gene) Brown of Park Rapids; 2 brothers- in-law, John Meyer and Keith (Joann) Meyer all of Park Rapids; 12 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, 1 aunt and two uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents; two step dads: William Fell and Darrell Sharp; a son Raymond Lee White who died in an auto accident; two sisters: Rosella Litzau and Phyllis Zurn; two brothers: Thomas White and Anthony Fell. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 15 at the Riverside United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Grafenstein officiating. Visitation will begin One hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial are preferred in lieu of flowers. :
