Henrietta “Hank” Agnes Neumayer, age 89, of Park Rapids, MN, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Park Rapids, with a visitation an hour prior. A burial will follow the service at St. Peters the Apostle Catholic Cemetery.
Hank was born on November 2, 1936, to Elmer D. and Irene (Leslie) Williams in Park Rapids. She graduated from Park Rapids High School in 1954. After High School, she worked at various jobs until she married Vincent Neumayer on September 12, 1959. She then took on the role of homemaker raising their ten children.
Hank enjoyed gardening, fishing, and bingo. Likewise, she spent her time playing cards and Yahtzee, and all manner of crafts. Hank was a 50-year member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She will be remembered for her SPICY personality and for her great sense of humor. She loved life and all the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Paul (Cathy) Neumayer, Danette Larson, Phillip (Marcia) Neumayer, Marie Haefs, Joan Gravely, Anne Neumayer, Aggie Neumayer (Jeff), Rose (Terry) Pumper, and May Neumayer (Ed), a sister, Harriet “Liz” Ruckel; two brothers, Frank and Dan Williams, 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Vincent, her parents, Elmer D. and Irene, a son, Gene (Julie) Neumayer, sons-in-law, Terry Gravely, and Earl Haefs, a brother-in-law, Bill Ruckel, sisters-in-law, Darlene and Mary Williams, a granddaughter, Laura Larson, a grandson, Andrew Leitch, and a great-grandson, Miakoda Larson.
