Gus Leroy Wickey

Gus LeRoy Wickey was born on July 19, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa. His parents were the late George and Bonnie (Webb) Wickey. Gus grew up in Sioux City. He attended and graduated from Riverside High School. After graduation Gus proudly served in the United States Navy from February 1, 1965 to July 16, 1969. Gus has resided in the Park Rapids area for the last 35 years. He loved fishing and boating, watching old westerns and being around his animals. On September 13, 2021 Gus passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Park Rapids, Minnesota. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Bonnie. Gus is survived by his daughter, Shannon Bryant of Sioux City, Iowa; 2 grandchildren: Jataya and Kara and very dear special friend, Jo Heurung of Nevis.
