Geraldine Lee Greenfield February 13, 1935 – October 22, 2019     Remembering the life of Geraldine Lee Greenfield             Jeri passed away Oct. 22, 2019 in Park Rapids, MN.  She was born February 13, 1935 to Wilbert and Velma Hobbs in Iowa Falls, IA.  She was raised in Kamer, IA where she graduated from high school in May 1953.  Three weeks later, she married her high school sweetheart Arland Greenfield at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.  She supported Arland in his love for farming and always had cookies, bars or kringla ready for coffee time.  Jeri & Arland loved to travel.  They started trips to all the states when the kids were little.  They also visited many countries overseas to visit family.  Jeri enjoyed gardening, cake decorating and cross-stitch.  She was a loving and busy mother with daughters Becky & Lori and son Tim.  Her joy and delight were spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved being a grandma!  The Alliance Church family was also an important part of her life and she loved the Lord with all her heart.  Arland was her best friend and they were married 66 years.           She is survived by her husband, Arland; daughter, Becky (Chuck) Folkestad; daughter-in-law, Janice Greenfield; and son-in-law, Mark Petrie.  She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.            She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lori Lee Petrie; and son, Timothy Arend Greenfield.           In keeping with Arland and Jeri’s life-long priority, memorials will be given to Alliance Missions.           Visitation will be held 10-11 AM, Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsburg, IA with the funeral service beginning at 11 AM.  Pastor Tim Bubna will officiate.  Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Jewel, IA.           To leave online condolences or to view the video tribute please visit www.jonespearson.com
