Donna Louise Petty

Donna Louise Petty, age 79 of Park Rapids, MN, passed from this life to eternal life on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at her home in Park Rapids.

Donna was born on July 18, 1943, to Oliver and Myrtle (Olson) Jarl in Raymondville, Texas. She attended public school and grew to womanhood in Texas.  She was united in marriage to Thomas Petty, and they were blessed with a daughter, Kim. In 1990 Donna moved to Minnesota and purchased a home in Park Rapids. She worked many years as an insurance adjuster.

 Donna will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Carol Ernst; her brother, Jimmy Jarl of Washington state; one granddaughter, Chelsea Wetzbarger of Park Rapids, MN.; five great grandchildren: Triston, Victoria, Kenneth, Oliver, and Mikayla Wetzbarger. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Petty; her sister, Deborah Whithers; her daughter, Kim; and her parents.
