Darrell L Trumble II

Darrell Lewis “Dooby” Trumble, II, age 47, of Park Rapids, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at CHI St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids, MN.

Darrell was born on December 31, 1977, in Longview, WA, the son of Darrell and Linda (Humphrey) Trumble. He was raised all over and primarily attended school in Ephrata, WA. During the 11th grade the family moved to Park Rapids, MN. He worked for RDO and Americold in Park Rapids, MN, where an unfortunate forklift accident left him disabled for the rest of his life. In his free time, he liked to work on cars and help his family and friends any way he could. He was the kindest soul you ever met. He made friends out of enemies. He was the laugher, the prankster, the giver, and the helper. Spinning out was his favorite thing, whether it be with his own feet, bicycle, or car. His love for his family and kids was all he ever wanted. He suffered more pain than anyone should endure in his heart and from his many injuries. Heaven will be filled with his laughter, and he will be missed here on Earth by all who knew him.

Darrell is survived by his children, Dylan (Hannah), Adam, and Macie Trumble, all of Park Rapids, MN; 4 grandchildren, Natalie, Keanu, Nolan, and Lucille; mother, Linda Trumble, of Park Rapids, MN; and siblings, Dana (Jamie) Humphrey of Rainier, OR, Darren Trumble of Park Rapids, MN, Donny (Brittney) Trumble of Park Rapids, MN, and Jennifer Trumble of Ephrata, WA. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Lewis Trumble, and infant daughter, Madeline.

The family will be having a memorial service at their home at 1pm on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 15813 Downstream Dr, Park Rapids, MN, 56470.
