Loren Havnes

Loren Bert Havnes February 19, 1960 – November 21, 2016         Loren Havnes passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 21, 2016.  Loren was born to Lauritz (Sonny) and Mardell (Masteller) Havnes in Minneapolis, Minnesota.         Loren was united in marriage to Pat (Rebella) Havnes on April 23, 1983.  Loren worked many jobs; his last employment was at Aggregate in Park Rapids, Minnesota.  Loren loved his family and friends.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, automobile racing, old cars and putting model cars together.         Loren was preceded in death by his parents and brother Scotty Havnes.  He is survived by his three children: daughter, Alesa Havnes of Nevis, MN; two sons Lars Havnes of Park Rapids, MN and Neil Havnes of Nevis, MN  A very special dear friend Pat Havnes of Nevis, one sister Sher (Jay  Wipperling) Kramer of New York Mills, MN; two brothers: Jim (Peggy) Havnes of Menahga, MN, Rob (Cindy) Havnes of Wadena, MN, many cousins, nephews and nieces.  Loren loved when they called him “Uncle Buck”.         A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Park Rapids with Reverend James Neubauer & Reverend Timothy Heinecke, visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Nevis.         To leave online condolences please visit www.jonespearson.com
