Tammy L. Pfeifer

   Tammy L. Pfeifer, age 50, the much loved wife of Lyle A. Pfeifer, passed away very unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Monday, December 12, 2016 at her home in Savannah Township of Becker County, northwest of Two Inlets.                   Tammy was born on March 18, 1966 in Moorhead, MN to David and Kathleen (Danielson) Berg.  It was in the Barnesville area that she attended public school and grew into womanhood.  She graduated from the Barnesville High School with the Class of 1984.  Tammy then went on to attend Beauty College in Detroit Lakes, MN.  On September 9, 1988, Tammy’s life was fulfilled in her marriage to her soulmate, Lyle Aloysius Pfeifer.  This union was blessed with three children:  Tyler, Katie and Danielle.  Tammy dedicated herself to making a warm and loving home for her husband and children.  She was a wonderful cook and baker who will be long remembered for her delicious homemade fried chicken and her famous salted nut rolls.  Tammy worked right alongside her husband, Lyle in operating their dairy farm.  She enjoyed the rigorous challenges of farm life.  Tammy also enjoyed collecting cow figurines and anything that would have pictures of cows on it.  She also would clean cabins for resort owners and for private home owners as well throughout the Park Rapids area.  For over 12 years she served as the head cook for the Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids.  In her spare time, Tammy enjoyed doing bead work and crocheting.  Above all, she enjoyed spending as much time with her family as she could and she loved her two granddaughters with all her heart.     She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Lyle; her three children:  Tyler (Meghan Syrstad) of Fargo, ND, Katherine (Jeremy) Juntunen of Glyndon, MN and Danielle at home; two precious grandchildren: Nina and Sofia; her parents: Kathy and David Berg of Barnesville, MN; three brothers: Jeff (Rae Ann) Berg of Sabin, MN, Tom (Jen) Berg and Jerry (Cheryl) Berg all of Barnesville; her aunt, Diane Pfeifer of Nevis; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.                  Tammy was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara; two uncles: Danny and Donnie Danielson; her father and mother-in-law, AJ and Helen Pfeifer and her god son, Nick Pfeifer.         Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Two Inlets, MN with Father Thomas Friedl officiating.  The active casket bearers will be Jeff Berg, Bradey Berg, Tom Berg, Jerry Berg, Dana Berg, Joe Pfeifer, Jeremy Juntunen and Erik Pfeifer.  The honorary casket bearers will be:  Duane Danielson, Keith Danielson, David Danielson, Diane Pfeifer, Michelle Yliniemi, Annie Neumayer, Dillon Altepeter and Bobby Hammond.  Interment will be made in the Clara Cemetery of Comstock, MN.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids and again on Saturday beginning one hour prior to the service at the church.  Following the service a lunch will be hosted by the church.  To leave on line condolences or to view the video tribute please visit www.jonespearson.com
