WAYNE LEE PATTON July 3rd, 1967 – April 28th, 2018    Wayne Lee Patton, age 50, of Perham, MN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 28th, 2018.    Wayne was born to Bruce and Judith (Steinke) Patton on July 3rd, 1967 in Park Rapids, MN. He attended Park Rapids public schools, graduating with the high school class of 1985. On Sept. 5th, 1987, he was united in marriage to Jennifer Spillman in Park Rapids. Wayne was blessed with four children: Justin, Kassandra, Bently and Carson. The young couple ventured to Washington State where he worked as a CNA at the Seatoma Convalescent Center for a time. They returned to Park Rapids in the summer of 1989 where Wayne gained employment at Lamb-Weston RDO. Wayne loved the outdoors; especially when he could be hunting, fishing or motorcycling. He enjoyed following NASCAR racing. Above all, he loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart.    He will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Justin (Tiffany) Patton of Fargo, ND, Bently Rautio of Sebeka, MN and Carson Jokela of Menahga, MN and his daughter Kassandra (Jacob) Patton of Moorhead, MN; nine dearly loved grandchildren: Aunya, Landon, Parker, Riley, Annabelle, Spencer, Makennah, Hallie and Emmet; his father, Bruce Patton of Park Rapids, MN; his sister, Sandra (Ronald Jr.) Carnell of Park Rapids, MN and his brother, Paul (Genea) Patton of Menahga, MN; nine nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.    Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Judith who died in 2009 and his grandparents.    Memorial services will be held 4 PM Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home, Park Rapids, MN with Pastor Russ Smith officiating.
