Dear Haberer Family,
Our deep and sincere condolences in your loss. It seems like we were just getting to know Cousin Dick. He was related to us through my Aunt Else Gerber. Her Uncle was John Haberer who sponsered her to this country. We are thinking of and praying for you.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Haberer's passing (isn't it funny how we call our teachers we respect by their last names even 20 years later).
I remember him as a very nice man who touched many lives. He will be missed.

My husband and I were both students of Mr. Haberer's in the early '60's and were so saddened to read of his death. I remember him as a kind and gentle man who was totally dedicated to his students and to his profession. He was a big part of the reason I chose to be a business teacher. We pray for God's comfort and peace for all of his family and friends. He will never be forgotten.

We both had "Mr. Haberer" as a teacher in Twin Valley. He was an asset to the school and community for many years. In recent years, we would occasionally run into him in Park Rapids. It was fun to visit with him. It was so nice of him to come to the class of '59 reunion this past June. Our sympathy to his family.
