Oh Marleen. I was so shocked when Greg called from Fargo when Stephen was taken there for surgery, then to hear of the cancer, and now his death. My thoughts have been with you and yours intensely from that first call and throughout. . Please know that Michael and I hold you tenderly in our hearts and thoughts. I'm holding onto an image of Steve and Joannie somewhere together now, telling dumb jokes and laughing together. Please take care of yourself.

I will be with you in heart, and join in the songs as you sing Stephen home. I will forever remember how special he made me feel everytime I would visit, always taking time to make me his special fish dinner. Truly one of the good guys.
I'm pretty sure he is scouting out heavens fishing holes and hunting stands.
Forever in my heart.
