Ted’s Journey

Ted was born April 10, 1933 to David Shelby Warnick and California (Callie) Warnick
(Redman) in Illiapolis, IL.

He attended school in Latham, IL and started working as a young boy as a driver hauling coal and grain in a 1946 Ford Stubnose 2 ½ ton truck.

Ted joined the Navy in 1950 and served as an Engineman. He was the Admiral’s Barge
Engineer on the USS Yellowstone.

Ted and Shirley Wood were married in 1952 in Illinois. To this union five children were born. He started Warnick’s Janitorial Service in IL, and it thrived.

In 1980, Ted married Karen Overly Fonseth. They lived in Loveland, CO where he again
started Warnick’s Janitorial Service, and under his management, was very successful.

In 1991, Ted and Karen moved to Big Twin Lake close to Frazee, MN where they have resided for the past 21 years.

Dear Karen and Family,
Dad (Dennis) told me about Uncle Ted's passing and I am sorry for your loss. I didn't see Uncle Ted too much in my life but when I did he seemed a very nice man. May God Bless.
