In 1976, Frank and Jackie took a leap of faith and fulfilled a lifelong dream of farming by purchasing a farm south of Sebeka. They worked hard transforming the rocky land into a fertile farm. For 24 years, Jackie assisted her husband, Frank and her son, Jeff in every aspect of the egg production operation. She was bookkeeper, egg grader and head of marketing for the 50,000 chicken operation. They sold the chickens in 2000. She loved life on the farm. She tended many flowers and always grew a large vegetable garden. She persevered much of the garden’s abundance to feed her growing boys.
