Lola loved the out doors; especially, each spring when she would plant a large vegetable garden which she would nurture into fruitful abundance to can for the needs of her growing family. She also enjoyed raising beautiful flowers into colorful splendor for all to see and enjoy. Lola also followed NASCAR and especially enjoyed the thrills of her son’s own racing successes. For many years, Lola was a member of the Sebeka American Legion Post #456. Above all, Lola dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved with all her heart.

The pictures and video are a great tribute to your mom. What a kind and loving person your mom was and she will be missed. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I would love to keep her memory alive by hanging their (Lola and Bud) wedding picture in my dining room. If you have a copy I would love one.

If a Grandma had a meaning
I'll tell you what it'd be
if you were close to yours
like mine was to me..
Grandmas are always there
to lend a shoulder and dry your tears
to comfort you in everything
and help conquer all your fears..
Despite all the wrong you've done
and all the wrong you'll do
a Grandma will always be there
and unconditionally wil love you..
Grandmas are always busy although
their hearts are tame
they tell everyone about you
so everyone knows your name..
Without Grandmas we'd be lost
and our tears would not be dry
and we would not be encouraged
to spread our wings and fly
To my Grandma I say "THANK YOU"
My heart will always be with you
every day, and I know you're here with me!!
