To the Sandquist family and surviving grandsons Brandon and Jordan-We left the area over 5 years ago but got to know Dawn and your grandsons through hockey. Our son Tom played on the same team with Jordan for years before we moved away. We all know how close you can get in a rural area. Dawn had such a wonderful sense of humor. At one tournament Jordan's name was spelled wrong on the team roster as Jodan so we laughed and nicknamed him Jodan that day. We are all so saddened by this incredible loss. We are keeping you in our prayers. I know Dawn is at peace with our Lord at her side and his arms are embracing you at this time.

In the quiet moments, when hurt is hard to bear...May love become your shelter and may the beauty of precious memories be your comfort. Dawn and I went to school together and even though I have not seen or spoken to her in many many years. I can still see her smile. I read stories about her life and the contributions she made to the community and feel pride for the woman she had become. Strong women are an inspiration and she will continue to inspire me for years to come. She made a positive imprint on so many hearts! Your family is in thoughts and prayers. My deepest condolences. I hope that you are all comforted knowing that she was so loved. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Your family is in my prayers. I just had the pleasure to talk with Dawn about a week and a half ago. I met her briefly at a director's convention and then she stopped into Kid's Haven in Buffalo to tour a chat. I found her very dedicated to children and very charming. I was so saddened to hear about her death from Kelly. Kelly use to work with me and then moved and started working for Dawn. Kelly talked very highly of Dawn and Dawn of Kelly. She will be greatly missed and I feel privileged to have known her if even for a short time. My prayers will continue for all of you.
Sincerely,
Terry Peterson

It is impossible to express our sorrow for the loss of such a wonderful person as Dawn. We are so very sorry and wish we could ease your pain and sadness. Dawn was surrownded by family and friends who loved her dearly and will miss her. We will have to let her go, too soon, but will all be reunited in Heaven. This is most certainly not easy. You are all in our hearts and prayers everyday even though we are miles away. This is almost too much for a family to bare. We love you and care about you all. We will miss you Dawn, our Beloved Niece and Cousin.

Dawn was an amazing woman who addes so much to my children's lives. The attended Briar Patch for two years and Dawn always greeted them with a smile and a little squeeze. Her and I had many talks in her office that always had me leaving feeling better than I did when I went in. She was a big part of our hearts and always will be. Love you Dawn!!
