Stanley Edward Boberg, age 48, of Mahnomen, MN passed away on December 28, 2010 at the Twin Valley Living Center following a long and courageous battle against cancer.

He graduated from the West High School with the class of 1980. During his high school days, he worked at Lund’s Grocery and continued working there for 20 years. Stan then decided to make a career change and went to work for the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport in their Security department. In 2004, Stan decided to move back to Mahnomen and went to work for Shooting Star Casino in their Security department for 5 years until deciding that his calling was to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at the Twin Valley Living Center until his illness prevented him from working. Stan loved music and history of any kind. He loved traveling to Memphis, TN. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing practical jokes on his family and friends. He loved his dog, Luna, who was his special girl and could do no wrong.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Kitty Boberg of Mahnomen, MN; special aunt, Agnes Becker of Frazee, MN; aunts: Anna Becker Merchant of Cedar Lake, IN, Charlotte Becker of Saginaw, MN, Lucille Becker of Penguilly, MN and many other relatives and friends.
